Lavender Lyrics?

Clay Aiken’s new song sounds a lot like a cry for homo help: “Unveil me completely/I’m loosening my grasp/There’s no need to mask my frailty/Cause you see the real me.” [Towleroad]

Whoever’s giving Clay advice at the moment needs a big raise. He’s already gone on record as saying he sees it as a religious song, so the Claymates are satisfied, yet he’s getting a ton of publicity for his new album out of people speculating on whether he’s actually coming out in song (personally, I think it’s a little of both).
