Lawrence King’s Dad Is Not So Pleased With Brandon McInerney’s Plea Bargain

Brandon McInerney Pleads Guilty to 2nd Degree Murder: MyFoxLA.com

Throughout the Lawrence King murder trial, we heard a lot about Brandon McInerney’s crystal meth smoking parents and his Nazi enthusiast brother, but we didn’t heard much from Lawrence King’s relatives.

Well now King’s dad has spoken about McInerney’s second degree murder conviction… and he’s understandably displeased.

While he says McInerney executed his son “with the precision of a cold-blooded assassin,” he also says, “At the end of the day I think [McInerney's sentence] is something that we can accept.” He also thinks that his son’s teacher “should have to answer” for encouraging King’s effeminate behavior. What that entails he doesn’t say.

At the very least he says that, “the Defense trying to paint that Larry somehow deserved to be murdered, to me, is unconscionable.” No matter how you feel about McInerney’s sentence, that’s a sentiment we can all agree on.

What a pathetic sack. It’s not the school’s job to raise your son to behave like a man, it’s yours…And you failed miserably.

Dan Villarreal, you are the most consistent writer on Queerty! Consistently lazy and ill-informed. You could have used this new fangled thingy called Google and within 2 minutes learned that the parents have sued King’s school, claiming that the school was partially at fault for King’s death b/c it didn’t discourage his cross-dressing. They want to be paid money, even though they weren’t taking care of King at the time of the shooting.

Is there some rule at Queerty that its writers can do no original reporting? Is there some prohibition on doing anything other than a cut-and-paste? If so, Villarreal is doing a fine job following the rule.

So did your father, but you’re still alive.

      Hmmm…
I’m not really sure why you and a few others have such a hate-on for this writer. But, if you can do better then feel free to submit an article or two. Just so we can see how it’s supposed to be done.
Personally, I enjoy his articles… if you don’t, you could always skip them.

You ought to be ashamed of yourself, insulting actual writers like that.
