Leave It To Larry Craig to Bring Up Airport Travel All By Himself

Is it already time to point and laugh at Larry Craig again? Yes, it is! But only because Craig, stupidly, sat down with The Daily Show in what he believed would be an interview that didn’t focus on his bathroom footy antics.

“Larry said that the show was fun and is about the Senate,” a former member of the ex-senator’s staff emailed around. “It was done about a month ago after Sen. Bayh announced his retirement. They won’t be discussing the past, but will be discussing sticking around after announcing retirement, etc.”

They did, however, discuss the airport related perks of being an elected official.

I don’t think Larry Craig has anything to lose. Other than that wonderful singing voice! What a toe tapper!

I really loved that spot. Loved that whole bit about ‘that sweet taste in yer mouth.’

I usually fast forward thru the gotcha segments on DS and CR but can’t remember when I laughed so hard watching the Bayh and Craig interviews. Evan Bayh played along in a good-natured way and Larry Craig seemed totally oblivious. Genius.
