Can we get back to calling it “St Paddy’s day” at the very least? Paddy is the correct diminutive for Patrick. Though I’m not sure we know the Saint well enough to mess about with his name anyway.
Though I could be wrong here – I *might* not have remembered Peppermint Patty from the Peanuts cartoons being canonised – is it her day or something?
