Levi Strauss Donates $25,000 To Maintain CA Gay Nups

Levi’s got even more gay this week!

Not only has the San Francisco-based jeans company put out a gay commercial (seen above), and designed a pair of same-sex loving pants, but now they’ve joined a number of other companies in fighting against California’s Proposition 8:

Levi Strauss has pledged $25,000 to Equality for All, the coalition leading the No on 8 campaign, says company spokesman E.J. Bernacki. Robert Haas, the company’s chairman emeritus, and his wife have given $100,000, Bernacki said.

Two labor unions, the California Council of Service Employees and the California Teachers Association, each have given $250,000. Telecommunications company AT&T has given $25,000.

Reach out and touch someone, baby!

Great Commercial, very sexy and the actors are both adorable. Its nice to see something that is positive and shows us how we really are, just like everyone else.
