Why do people always claim to not know who somebody was. I know that girlfriends of celebrities always do that.

What a bunch of B.S. Anderson, you were hanging out at Studio 54 at 10. you knew who he was, the same way you knew why you kept watching the movie “Blue Lagoon” over and over.
The Vanderbilt-Coopers weren’t part of the regular Studio 54 scene, although some of their friends were.
According to Anderson, his mother was friends with the director of the Wiz so they were invited to the premiere of the movie and the after party at Studio 54. He was part of the group that rode in MJ’s limo while (deeply misguided) girls chased the limo and screamed for Michael.

Well first he said he “went to Studio 54 with MJ and a bunch of other people”, not that he “spotted him” there. Second, he was 10 in 1977.
And third, these two have the best chemistry on television. So cute!
@Tank: Yeah, never a hotter pair were photographed. Sheesh! Even if he is gay, does that mean every man he’s with is gay too? Or that he’s his lover? I – and probably many of you – have plenty of straight male friends with whom we hang out (biking or otherwise), but does that mean that we’re sleeping with them? @WTF?: Yes there is a lot of money coming from his mother, but I really doubt that his mother is a complete homophobe. Actually, his mother seems to be very progressive, almost to the point of sticking it to the conservatives with a very sharp pin every chance she can. If Cooper is staying in its not because of his mother. At this point it is probably not because of his career either. My guess is that if he is really gay and just closeted it is because he feels its nobody’s business but his own.
