We can add Lily Tomlin and wife Jane Wagner to the ever-increasing number of Americans who are horrified at the prospect of living in a country overseen by President Donald Trump (it even hurts to type those words). The two funny ladies revised a scene from the classic comedy Nine to Five in which put-upon secretaries (Tomlin, Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton) dispose of their “sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot” of a boss played by Dabney Coleman, and posted it on their shared Facebook page. It offers the perfect way to reflect on some of the myriad problems with Trump and a fine way to remedy them.

I can certainly understand Lily’s desperation. Trump definitely is the bigger threat to Hillary than the homophobe extremist Ted Cruz. But why would any gay person want to risk seeing Ted Cruz become the GOP nominee and perhaps win the White House?

I support Hillary because she has the best shot at winning the White House and that I want democrats in power. If someone votes Trump, they are voting in that hideous party he represents.
It isn’t just selfish, but shows utter disregard and depravity towards other LGBT people and the entire nation as a whole.
The entire wellbeing of the nation would be in serious jeopardy if the republicans somehow manage to win. We must not permit another Great Depression. Trump is as bad as Hoover.
