Limbaugh: Obama’s DOMA Declaration Is Leading To ‘Deterioration Of Our Society’
Do you have 15 minutes to get angry and scream at your computer screen? Then boy do we have a video for you! Rush Limbaugh, predictably, is not too thrilled with Barack Obama declaring unconstitutional a law that no court has done to. You know, because men like Rush Limbaugh love it when courts legislate from the bench and overturn laws passed by Congress when they deem them illegal. “The president is lawless. The evidence is mounting every day. The only ones blind to it are his asskissers in the media.” Probably because they’re all busy being Obama’s bum boys, I’m guessing.
Wait! Rush Limbaugh, the serially-married drug-abusing hack worries about society deteriorating? Don’t that take the cake! If the Republicans were truly worries about the sanctity of marriage, they’d make adultery a misdemeanor and divorce a felony. If Rush were a destitute POC he’d be in jail for his drug-crimes, instead of polluting the airways with his cranky, logic-free rants.

I love these straight people who talk about sancity of marriage, yet they’ve been married 5-6 times, cheated on their wives. The sad fact is generally conservative radio shows continue with such strength is that they hosts have no problems lying and spreading stereotypes. Liberal ideas require work and sacrifice, helping to make the world a better place for all (in theory) but conservative ideas play to the status quo and people’s existing mindsets (religious & otherwise) and prejudices.
Mother Jones magazine’s most recent issue just had a very disheartening article about how labor unions have declined to the point of apparent no return and were for decades the only effective countervailing force against corporate excess. I mention this not to be off topic but to say it is great to spew vitriol against Rush, but liberals have a lot of work to do if they expect to roll back the conservative agenda.

I am almost embarrassed to say that this is the first time I’ve listened to Limburger more than a few seconds, in my life. Now I know why I haven’t wasted my time on him. He is unbelievably funny (as in, “He ain’t right in the attic” type of funny) and if he has any pull with anybody, it stereotypes them immediately.
This man has no cause to judge or dictate to anyone or anything. He is quite frankly, a very rich… loser. Elton John saw a wonderful way to raise money for AIDS causes and it would be well-intentioned if he played and sang for any right wing American christian Taliban group. Money is money, clean or dirty. How, and for what one attains it is what’s important.
