LISTEN: Colby Keller Rocks Our New Year, Gay Etiquette Advice And More!

How did we spemd last few hours of 2011? In our cozy DC studio with two porn stars, a bottle of scotch and a slideshow of naked men on the big screen. We booked porn star Colby Keller (left) and he brought his friends–brand new porn dude Dale Cooper and nightlife host Karl Marks along for the wild ride.

Dale and I had fun talking to Colby about his love of crafts—including making a penis menorah to celebrate Hanukkah—his love of beards, his disastrous first porn shoot, why DC’s big granite monuments turn him on and the weirdest things his fans have sent to him in the mail.

This week’s show also includes the return of nationally-known gay etiquette expert and author Steven Petrow with tips about watching porn on airplanes, what to do with a dead partner’s Facebook page, and whether or not regifting those misguided Christmas presents is really a good idea or not.

That, and tons of comments on pop culture, plus a little gay news and DJ Earworm‘s pop music mashup for 2011.

It’s all right here:

If you don’t get it from iTunes, stream the latest episode right now:

Scott Wallis is the co-host of the Queerty/GayCities-sponsored Swish Edition comedy and interview show. If you listen to the show, you know Scott and the Swish boys will be an official part of Atlantis’ next cruise on January 29—Idina Menzel and Alec Mapa have both just been announced as entertainment! Hear a chat with Alec on next week’s episode.

No. 1 · flustered gay boy

Personal experience: if you’re at somebody’s place and you’re going to throw up anywhere in the house or outside the house — go back and clean it up in the morning (if not right then). And bring a gift or some sort of food so they can remember you for your kindness and not your innards.
