Yes, y'all, the sound of this song is generic contemporary pop in the Britney sense of the word. But when Adam goes on tour, his live performances for this song (even his inevitable TV appearances — SNL, Today show, etc.), the vocals are gonna be outta this world.

I wonder what possessed Adam to put that cover out for the album. The cover for the single is more edgy and masculine. The album cover won't appeal to straights or gays. Looks like the guy is going to do it. His album is charting at #1 on iTunes, and it hasn't even been released yet. All the snarkiness here aside, I think it's important that a way out, 24/7 gay guy is pulling this off. True, he has an extraordinary talent, but there were a lot of risks. This will have important implications for gay people in entertainment business, and, I think by extension, for all of us. Check back at that album cover, THAT'S going mainstream!
