      How said to see a woman like Kylie showing off her legs yet again. She’s pathetic. She’s no better than Britney Spears. Through her career, she’s used her various body parts to distract from her complete lack of talent. A totally manfuctured hack is what she is.

      Go away, Kylie.

      As a gay man, I have no interest in seeing Kylie’s legs and behind. She shows them off because she needs the attention of the straight male-controlled media. She’s a manipulative little bitch in my opinion.

      Not to mention that she can’t sing to save her life. I saw her singing live once and it was awful, just awful.

      sam,

      Embracing sexuality? Puh-lease, if you believe that, you believe in the tooth fairy.

      Kylie used her sexuality as a marketing ploy to appeal to straight guys, the type that often hate gays.

      If she was all about sexuality, why hasn’t she had a baby yet? Sexuality, in its purest form, is about having kids. That’s why women produce eggs – to get fertilized. They’re not just dangling there for the sake of decorating the tree.

      @ Jason and Brian…Jesus Christ guys, chill out. Kylie’s certainly not my favorite artist, but she sure as hell isn’t that bad…certainly no worse than other celebrities and FAR more better than Britney, who’s a complete no talent hack who is getting grossly overpaid for that X Factor show (but shit breeds shit). Kylie’s pretty cool…she’s sweet, genuine and charitable and loves the gays…how can you knock her? It’s not her fault that sex sells…blame society for that one.

      Kylie loves the gays, I’m sure. They helped build her mansions.

      I don’t see why a woman who flashes skin is liked by gay men. Aren’t you gay guys supposed to be into men? What does a woman flashing skin do for you? Does it titillate you sexually?

      Perhaps you gay guys like to sleaze up women for the benefit of the sleazy straight guy fantasy. You’ve become enablers of the sleazy straight guy fantasy. You see the sleazification of women as a means of reducing the tone of society and thus getting social approval for your own grubby, disgusting behavior.

      You’re basically into dumbing everything down so that permissiveness rules. Well, that’s not how I operate.

      I will continue to pursue and expose sleazy gay guys who enable the sleazy straight guy fantasy by supporting sleazy behavior in women.

      i’m old enough to remember when gay men supported artists who were supremely talented. now all it takes it putting a hot guy in a video or telling gay folks that you like them..you really like them !

      @jason:
      – Your complaints are trivial and a bit projected.

      @brian:
      “She shows them off because she needs the attention of the straight male-controlled media.”
      – You make it sound like that’s a bad thing. Whether you like it or not, media marketing will always be dominated by straight men. Get used to it. This is how show business goes.

      “Kylie used her sexuality as a marketing ploy to appeal to straight guys, the type that often hate gays.”
      – As if “gay icons” appealing to straight men is going into TRAITOR territory. Way to go at trying to make straight men look like the bad guys. You are no better than the straight men who stereotype gay men.

      “If she was all about sexuality, why hasn’t she had a baby yet? Sexuality, in its purest form, is about having kids.”
      – Embracing sexuality does not automatically go straight into embracing reproduction. You sound like my old Sunday school teacher. We’ve evolved far beyond only having sex to reproduce. Humans and bonobos are one of the only species who have sex not only to reproduce but to appease, to strengthen bonds, to make up after a fight, to ease tensions, to cement alliances, etc.

      @jason:
      “I don’t see why a woman who flashes skin is liked by gay men. Aren’t you gay guys supposed to be into men? What does a woman flashing skin do for you? Does it titillate you sexually?
      – I am 100% gay. I love men. I also don’t mind watching woman confidently embracing their sexuality through dance, art, and fashion. I admire and appreciate the female body. That doesn’t mean I wanna have sex with it.

      “Perhaps you gay guys like to sleaze up women for the benefit of the sleazy straight guy fantasy. You’ve become enablers of the sleazy straight guy fantasy. You see the sleazification of women as a means of reducing the tone of society and thus getting social approval for your own grubby, disgusting behavior.
      – First, “sleazification” is not a word. You made so many logical fallacies that I don’t know where to start nor do I care to pick them apart. All I can say is, YOU’RE SO GAY that you took time to post a long-winded comment on a Kylie Minogue post on a gay website.

      el polacko,

      LOL, so true. I also remember when gay men supported true talent. Nowadays, all a female singer needs to do to become the object of gay adulation is to pretend she supports gay rights. She can be the world’s most awful singer, use tons of Auto Tune, mime like Marcel Marceau, or strut around like a straight-male enabling whore, and gays will still lavish her with devotion.

      It’s sad and it points to a dumbing down of gay male culture.

      Whoa they let the crazies out today! How about she releases infectious, fun dance music that I like dancing to! What is so wrong with that? Who are you to measure anyone else’s talent? If you don’t like her, then don’t bother clicking into a link recommending her new song.

      Women can be whatever they want – I am pretty sure at this point in her career Kylie knows who he audience is and understands her music has limited appeal the the average straight man. To somehow declare she’s degrading herself and walking around like a piece of meat to appease straight men is ludicrous. I am fairly certain that she is in complete creative control of her music and image, like many women on her success level are, so buzz off and go be nasty elsewhere. Bitter old queens who reminisce when gaycons “had talent.” Oh please..

      Wow, I dont understand why some of you are spazzing out—its a pop song, thats it. She’s not running for office or anything. I like the song, its got a good dance beat.

      As for her showing off her body, I’m not into women but I can appreciate and celebrate a woman enjoying her sexuality. Its fine if the song doesnt do it for you but i dont understand why anyone would get angry or scared about a scantily clad women in charge of her own pleasure. She’s been a pop star for 25 years so obviously some people like her. If you dont then just don’t listen. SHEESH!

      mister E,

      Sexuality? LOL. A lot of these women are simply using their “sexuality” as a marketing ploy. It’s got nothing to do with “enjoying her sexuality”.

      A lot of these women look so much like strippers who take off their clothes to titillate homophobic and sexist straight guys.

      I disagree, and it’s really weird to hear that from a gay man. My sexuality is no more less pure than anyone else’s just because it hasn’t resulted in kids.

      Sexuality is about many things, such as intimacy, mutual appreciation, beauty, and pleasure. I’d say it’s more pure when it doesn’t get conflated with reproduction.

      Okay. All you bitches be cray! lol Seriously though. Kylie is a LEGEND!!!! She reached international fame before I was even freaking born! (I’m 20) Also she did this without using any tricks or gambits in her music or shows. Yes, she does play to her gays but that’s just marketing. You find your target market and you give them what they want. Yet she also IS an incredible artist that has maintained humility, compassion and just a sense of normality. I love her and can’t wait to see her continue performing for many years to come.

      Inscrutable Ted,

      Sexuality in women is about having babies. Sexuality in men is about fucking. If you don’t understand this biological difference between men and women, you need to go back to your books.

      With Kylie, she’s not about sexuality. She’s about using her “sexuality” as a marketing ploy – ie to make money.

      It’s the ka-ching thing, sweetie.

      This will mark Kylie’s 25th year in the music and entertainment industry. She’s a genuine and loving artist and I cannot believe where all these negative and hateful posts are coming from. I’ll agree there are many artists and entertainers who will try to appeal to the gay community just to make a buck, but Kylie has been with us almost since day one and we’ve adopted her as a gay icon. I grew up with Kylie on the radio and I would take her over Britney, Madonna, Christina and so on. Her tours are amazing, her attitude and perspective of the world is kind and loving and she’s beautiful and sexy and if you’ve got an amazing body (which she does at 43) then by all means show it off to the world. Sex appeal has been with Kylie for years and there is nothing wrong with how she shares it with us.

      Wow, just the comment questioning why Kylie hasn’t had a baby yet makes me angry. Don’t you people know that after her breast cancer treatment in 2005, it affects her health that it’s hard for her to have a baby ? She always wishes to have a baby like her sister, Dannii. So before making such statement, at least make some research.

      She co-wrote many of her songs and has maintained a career of 25 years with several Grammy nominations (1 win). Prior to that, she was a TV actress on the famous TV Show “Neighbours”. Claiming that she has no talent is ridiculous.

      So many of us gays love her. That’s our taste. You don’t like her, that’s OK. But don’t make any false statement that make you sound like an old queen who achieve nothing in your life except bitterness. (Sorry if my English is bad, I’m not a native speaker)

      OK, so apart from the cray cray comments, Kyles had been adored by us down under since she appeared in Neighbours in the 1980s.

      Having been to most of her concerts and her Anti-tour, I can say that she can indeed sing live.

      Here she’s a national icon. She took part in this year’s Mardi Gras, and has ALWAYS thanked the gay community for what they have done for her. She knows, and respects who made her into what she is today. To those debating her flaunting her body, anyone who likes Kylie is pretty much considered gay, so it just doesn’t follow that she’s appealing to the straight market. No straight guy would be caught dead listening to Kylie…

      It’s no secret that she has failed to break the US market but in Australia and the UK she reign supreme.

      Gotta a problem with Auto-Tune? The why was Cher’s ‘Believe’, which employed HEAVY Auto-Tune, so damn famous?

      Cause it sounded good regardless of how musically talented Cher was.

      And this is coming from a 17 year old, I love appreciating a good looking woman’s body. I don’t give a fuck of what sex she is, just as long it looks nice. What’s so wrong with that?

      Well Said, buddy. I’ll bring some coke for you and me. Cher is one of the example of auto-tune. Another example will be some of Janet Jackson songs.
