LIVE STREAMING: Committee Hearing On Illinois Marriage-Equality Bill

With some sources claiming Illinois’ Religious Freedom and Marriage Fairness Act failed to garner enough votes, and others saying it’s been tacked on to an auto-rental measure, it’s not clear where same-sex marriage stands in the Prairie State.

But the state’s Senate Executive Committee is apparently hearing testimony on both sides of the bill. Above, listen to live testimony from the statehouse in Springfield.
