Surely, as New Jersey’s State Senate today votes on the Freedom of Religion and Equality in Civil Marriage Act (that’s what Sens. Loretta Weinberg and Raymond Lesniak are calling their gay marriage bill), you’re going to want to watch the entire thing go down … live, right? Well now you can! Because while the Prop 8 trial may be on a one-day YouTube delay, your Jersey lawmakers are webcasting their showdown live.

Why the blank don’t these things allow buffering anymore? Watching in half-second bursts is useless.

Thanks, 6 and 7… but the link doesn’t work, and selecting ‘low quality’ just makes the half-second bursts come slightly more often; then, after what would have been about five seconds real-time, it skips ahead.
