Are they serious? “..Backers of Proposition 8, the anti-gay marriage amendment on Tuesday’s ballot, have threatened to recall an openly gay South Bay politician if he does not convert to their side in the fight. Evan Low, who serves on the Campbell City Council, reported this week that he had received threats from half a dozen people that if he did not rescind his endorsement against Prop 8 he would be recalled from office.” [BAR]
What is wrong with these people?
Why are they so desperately hungry to deny same-sex marriage rights, when these marriages have been in effect for months in Cali + the sky hasn’t fallen + none of their own marriages have been torn asunder as a result?
Not agreeing with it due to your own personal religious beliefs is one thing, but getting this desperate + heated about it is just odd.
Like these folk will be happy with an openly gay elected official under any circumstances…
Of course, all of those threats are probably from OUT OF STATE Mormon backers of Prop 8 who really can’t vote to get him recalled anyway.

These people are beginning to sound more and more like the Nazi party in Germany just before WWII broke out.
What will they be promoting next? Crystal Nacht for gays and concentration camps?
