Queerty is better as a member
For once she actually has got a valid point. Unfortunately, not everyone is British in order to understand the irony.
She should stop spouting out “controversies” and plumping her cheeks. Her face is beginning to look like Kim Kardashian’s butt.
Exactly, I’m not even that big of a fan of hers and it was obvious she was being cheeky and ironic.
Ironic, more like desperate. And when you have to explain when you are being ironic, can’t e any more apparent how not ironic you are being.
Just another silly stunt to promote her old lady and her walker tour.
As always, her focus was on herself…without thought as to how she might be mis-understood. Her ‘irony’ and her ‘accent’ are bogus media affectations. She used to be able to depend on her talent…sad now.
I guess there is a very fine line between irony and stupidity. At least there is now.
@Joe Dalmas: That so funny cause it’s true !!! SNAP !!!
Sarcasm is more appropriate madonna…..
Madge rocks, can’t wait for her concert at MSG in November.
She looks fantastic for her age.
David Furnish is so right about her.
Madonna reminded me of this bimbo in one of my class. She is so stupid, but always asked dumb questions to make herself look smart. Every time she raised her hand, people rolled their eyes and she looked like a clown. I remembered someone have said: “If you want to judge someone, don’t listen to them, look at how they act toward people around them.” So do you think it’s righteous to listen about “Democracy” from a notorious bitch? She can make a political statement about anything, fine, but until I see she actually DOES something, then we’ll talk.
@viveutvivas: Its called air brushing.
Why didn’t Vadge just say what she said in the clarification IN THE FIRST PLACE
instead of being -needlessly- provocative!? No wonder Lourdes is smoking cigarettes against Mad’s wishes.
@Spike: Apparently because people are FUCKING IDIOTS. I caught it immediately! There was NO question in my mind. Is dry humor dead?!
@ByronJoeHamzah: Speaking of dry humor, it’s not exclusive to the British.
This whole “anti-Madonna” thing is getting old. And good God, the AGEISM involved. Let me point out that you will ALL be in your 50s someday (well, those who don’t make stupid decisions). You will be taunted by the younger gays, etc. I say this as a realist (who’s 33).
Who does she thinks she is? Oscar Wilde?
@GeriHew: Because of course only Oscar Wilde war ironic in history, it isn’t like any other author or noted socialites of that era or any other time were such.
Mind you the American version of irony seems to be akin to Alanis Morisette song, that being none of it ironic and incredibly astute at missing the point. That isn’t to say us in the UK are better with reality shows aplenty and shows like Benidorm bad enough to rival the worst of US output we are all falling into the whirlpool of dumbing down.
Friends started it, every other halfwit just picked up the moron ball and is running with it.
@GeriHew: Because of course only Oscar Wilde was ironic in history, it isn’t like any other author or noted socialites of that era or any other time were such.
No, you were being moronic, believing that your opinion carries any weight.
Yes, when I think of the great comedians, I think of Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Madonna.
So only comedians and writers now, are allowed to be funny/ironic. That’s a new one
@viveutvivas: She’s got a really good body for 54, but don’t be deceived into thinking what you see above is actually her “natural” look.
@Allen D.: Dry humor, you mean being British? Do you have a fake Brit accent as well?
Guess your head is so far up your ass you are not aware of the current US Presidential upcoming election and what is at stake and how such comments, ironic or not, are not helping.
@2eo: Hey, I was just being flippant.
The hate on her is so lame. She was the first person back in 80′s that told me it was OKAY for me to be me. That means alot.
