Madonna’s 1-Liner About Not Hating Gays Is Gonna Get Her Bashed in Romania
Just one day after releasing this piece of garbage to the web, Madonna was trying to save face with the gays last night in Bucharest, Romania, where she is still. on. tour. During one of the rare unscripted moments of the show, Ms. Ciccone told the 60,000 (!) concertgoers that while she was happy to be in their country, she was upset with all the hating on Gypsies and gays. That didn’t go over well.
They booed her. Though she must have missed the reaction to her comments; she didn’t react.
“I’ve never been to Romania before and I am happy to be here,” said the singer. “But I found out that there is a lot of discrimination against gypsies in Eastern Europe and that makes me very sad, especially because we believe in acceptance, gypsies, homosexuals, people that are different. Everyone must be treated the same, don’t forget that!”
Hahaha, not here, Madonna! Sure, the cops might protect the gays at their silly pride festivals, but there seem to be more out and proud neo-Nazis there than gays. Besides, wasn’t it Madonna who even said “other cities always make me sad”?

Madonna carried the gay flag through out the 80s and 90s, raising and donating money for gay causes and supporting the community. Way before Janet or Mariah embraced us. It’s a fucking concert, not the upcoming March on Washington, so I’d say her ‘support the gays’ one liner gets a pass, and not more bitchery from you bitches.
Madonna could take a shit that has more creative talent than many other flavor of the month, 1-hit-wonder bitches. Does everything that any artist create show ‘complete genius’ and exist as their best work ever? No. But the body of creative work (music and visual) this woman has created over the past 2 decades deserves some respect.

Lloyd is right. Ethnic Romas (or Gypsies) are have systemic discrimination throughout some parts of Europe. Just as many people see the gays as harmful to society or children, many in Europe see Gypsies nothing more than thieves and the causes for many societal woes.
I think it took balls for Madonna to say anything and to sit there while she got jeered.
