Madonna’s Wasting Our Time

Only the most die hardest of die hard Madonna fans will like this collaboration with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, “Four Minutes To Save The World.” It’s terrible.

[Thanks !!omg!! for new video.]

Well, I liked it and I’m certainly not a die-hard fan of any of the three artists involved! :)

I love a lot of Madonna’s music, but this is truly awful.

I don’t understand why she wastes her time with talentless people like Britney and Justin.

It’s not her best work…at all. reminds me of Secret (not the sound)but she missed it somehow. I hope better singles are on the way. She CAN do better!!!

Why musdt Timbaland show his fug in every video fo the people he produces? Must be in the contract or somehting.

I’m really disappointed with her colab with Timbaland and not so much with Timberlake. Timbaland vocal appearances in any of his productions are truly awful and this latest is proof. With so many producers available why go with the obvious, if not to completely sell-out. This is Madonna’s sell-out.
A waste of 4 minutes indeed!

Well… I am a diehard Madonna fan and I am a diehaard JT fan. So this video has me creaming my underwear at the office! All those other self-important bitches out there who have a problem with that… suck this!

P.S. The video has been removed from YouTube, but I already downloaded it thanks to Mozilla Firefox technology (or that of their contributors). JT is still the sexiest man alive, at the moment.

@#6 – A waste indeed. All that dancing and singing and they didn’t even save the world like they promised.

Yeah I’ve been hearing this on the radio for weeks now…I’m sick of it already. It’s not that good. It sounds like the last 3 or 4 JT songs, and the FAKE trumpet chorus used to make up the beat just sounds really really cheap and annoying.

It’s so completely mediocre and generic, which is bad enough. That it’s a Madonna single that sounds like every other Timbaland track makes it a sonic abortion.

I keep getting older and Madonna keeps getting more brightly lit (and richer). I must be awake then.

Love the song! Love the video!

Seems a lot of other people love it too, since it’s currently #3 on the billboard charts (and rising)#1 on iTunes, #1 iTunes video, and #1 in more countries than I can count at the moment.

Madonna, Justin, and Timba rule.

I like the song, but I have a problem with it. Every time Madonna has collaborated with co-writers and producers, the end product sounds like she was the guiding creative force. This sounds like something Timberlake and Timbaland would produce for anyone like Rhianna or Beyonce. It isn’t a Madonna product. That makes me a bit sad.

I’m not a die-hard fan by any means, but I like it. What a strange, sweeping headline.

I have to agree with ChristopherM though, I wish it had more of a Madonna stamp on it than just a typical Timbaland stamp. And yeah, I wish they’d kept Timbaland’s stupid vocals at the beginning out (and the “Tick-tocks”).

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the video.

I think it’s quite good, both the song and the video. Harsh judgment form many people (including the article writer) to be sure, but to each his own.

Although I’m a strong believer of freedom of speech, I’m starting to think that I’m “wasting” my time with this blog. This woman still got it, and she wants to make sure people remember what she’s capable of doing. The song at first was a bit too “Hip/Hop” to my taste, but it has grown on me. It’s got the Madonna “stamp” all over it, she was totally in control of this production. And I’m sorry, but the video is f***ing amazing!! Look at her!! She’s 49…….. will most of us still be able to pull it off at 49?? Despite all that… I’ll use Chris’s words, “to each his own”.

Afrolito and Lucblanchet are right on. This blog is a huge pile of idiocy smothered in bad grammar and sprinkled with tasty misspellings.

i’m gonna fall in the camp that thinks this is really, really bad

just awful

that little *madonna* bit is just ridiculous

she was so good once upon a time – up till “the immaculate collection” era – after that, she just started bloodsucking producers for her success

can’t stand jt either

blah

IT SUCKS! Can anyone even hum a few bars of her duet with Britney, “Me Against The Music”? Madonna is a shameless rip off artist. Suck onto the latest young dance artist like a child molestor and “collaborate”. She sold her soul to the devil in the back rooms at Danceteria.

I really like the song. Didn’t as much at first, but it’s grown on me. And I really enjoyed the video. Except I found it odd that her hair didn’t move much, and the editing at the end was all over the place. I don’t get it. You have a choreographed dance sequence between two great dancers. Show it to me!

Hopefully the dance remix will make the song tolerable. Is it just me or does Madonna’s face look like Courtney Cox?

To all you traitors, heretics and haters:

Madge is the Queen and don’t you forgot it! She’s the Judy Garland of our generation and if she died tomorrow, the gays would be rioting in the streets all over again!

P.S. And like most of her songs, “Four Minutes” grows on you.

I don’t get the reverence for Judy Garland, Streisand, or Madonna. Is there something wrong with me? I still like other men a lot.
