Maine Says NOM’s Investigation Side Show Must Go On

In a 4-0 vote, Maine’s state ethics commission denied the National Organization for Marriage’s request to dismiss an investigation into the group’s involvement in Question 1, where it donated some $1.5 million to Stand for Marriage Maine. NOM cited the commission’s lack of authority; it obviously disagreed. [Press Herald]
