It isn’t the only one either, anything with specific ties to the mormon church is either ignored or comments are blocked, it isn’t a liability or slander effort to block either as they let way worse slide.

Interesting. That article is indeed about Ohio; what it says about the Mormon church, or what it ought to say about it, I don’t see, and it at least *looks* like the lack of comments is a page defect, rather than their intentionally being closed (as that generally includes a message saying they’re closed, rather than one inviting people to start a thread.)

The Morman Church has a lot of hypocrites which I saw in Idaho in 1955 when a witch
hunt in Boise, Idaho arrested gays. 9 out of 10 of them were Mormans. I was 14 years old back then and I remember it well. I am a gay man and I was raised as a Morman in Boise, Idaho.
After high school I spent four years in the Navy during which time I came out in 1960 in Washington D.C.. I was transferred to Boston in 1961 and I met my partner in Boston, 1962. We lived in Massachusetts all but one year which we
lived in Seattle WA. We were married in 2004 in Cambridge, MA and are enjoying our
retirement. It is wonderful living in a state that practices democracy.

Is there a particular reason you block comments on specific articles Dan, usually pertaining to Ohio?
I don’t expect an answer obviously as I’m not one of the advertisers [Outbrain] who fund Queerty and are owned by the mormon church.
