Bernadette Peters is amazingly talented and beautiful. Why not post more pictures of her? Oh right, because washed-up Mariah Carey's narcissistic preening is MUCH more interesting.

i agree that bernadette looks great and she is very talented. if you want to see more pictures of her at this event, go to mariahdaily.com. i especially like the pictures of the mariah and bernadette laughing together and when mariah is showing bernadette her rings.

however, i find it a somewhat misleading to refer to the highest selling female artist of all time, tied with elvis presley for 2nd place with 17 number one US singles behind the beatles, who had 20- as being washed-up. she also had the highest selling album of 2005 (the emancipation of mimi) with over five million copies in the US alone. her album that will drop on november 20th of this year is expected to do just as well. to list all of her incredible and groundbreaking accomplishments, along with her philanthropy would be exhausting. yeah, she likes to get glammed up and pose which might be mistaken as being narcissistic…but EVERY star poses. also, if you understood her from a fan's perspective who has a better understanding of her sense of humor, you would know that she is just being over-the-top and fabulous, however laughing at herself all at the same time. one of the most common things that other celebrities and fans say when they meet her is that they can't believe how down to earth and grounded she is.

so ash, instead of crticizing her for giving back to the public and highlighting the importance of jury duty, how about you show a little love and respect for the imcomparable, five-octave-range diva (in the best way), ms. mariah carey ;)

Mariah is looking good! and looking better. so i can't help but think that somewhere there is a tattoo of her getting uglier.
