As the product of an alcoholic father, mocking a drunk makes me wonder, which one is sadder, the drunk, afflicted by alcoholism or the jerk who shows no compassion and finds the disease so funny? If the man (men) are in fact homeless, that makes Lopez and the other simpleton and bimbo with him that much more pitiable. I really used to like Mario Lopez, but the more I see, hear and read about him the more despicable he becomes. I certainly wouldn’t spend my time or money to encourage his celebrity. He’s been blessed with an attractive body but apparently a very ugly soul.

I was on the subway once and saw a bunch of drunk assholes taking pictures with a passed out homeless man and it was sickening. In its unchecked and fleshed out form, this reminds me of the Abu Ghraib photos.

Are not those “hand grenades” they are holding? Isn’t it perfectly acceptable to mock drunks who pass out on Bourbon Street?
If that guy is homeless, it’s totally poor taste to mock him.
If he’s just some random, drunk club-hopper, mock away.
