I don’t understand why you would post something like this. What is the point? It just reinforces self hatred and gives a voice to bigots. Especially to the teens he is talking to. By posting this you are giving his idiotic opinion legitimacy and power. If you choose not to write about this, then you do not add more fuel to the fire. I understand that we need to know that people still vilify us, but by posting this you are spreading it around to more people and keeping that hatred alive. Worse, you offer no rebuttal to his argument. Where is your response? Or anyone else’s for that matter? A more positive way to go would be to post a story in response to his comments. People’s negative reaction to this needs to be shown in order to show us that people, gay and/or straight, won’t stand for this type of speech. OH boy, the idiocy and misinformation here is staggering:
Homosexual behavior does not lead to astronomical risk of nearly all forms of STD’s … unsafe and irresponsible sexual practices do.
The life expectancy study quoted was done in the early 1980’s and was in response to the Aids epidemic. It is not even close to that today and in fact GAY and STRAIGHT men have about the same life expectancies when HIV positive men are taken out of the equation.
If the wages of sin was death in the manner being insinuated here then straight men rapist, murderers, liars, adulterers, drinkers, smokers, thieves, covetous, child abusers, etc would be dying at much higher rates then they are.

It is based off of the CDC study that says 2% of the US population is classified as MSM (gay, bisexual or other men who have sex with men) I think we all know that if you add all the gay, bisexual and “straight” men who have sex with men together you could get more then 2% of the population.
