We’re not sure if we should thank or curse Ellen for setting up Matt Lauer to make his national S&M debut in the form of a Today Show stunt during a recent episode of her show.
But we have to admit, when we first heard the words “Matt Lauer” and “harness” together, we braced for the worst. The reality? Eh, not so bad. Not so bad at all, Matt.

50 Shades is straight up porn and for that reason most people won’t want to watch it in a theater despite some pretending otherwise.
Magic Mike doesn’t take itself seriously and isn’t porn despite the stripper theme so it’s much easier to go see that without feeling the need to hide your face.
Also I could’ve gone the rest of my life without seeing Lauer in a harness or even without a shirt on.
