I kind of feel bad for Dolezal. It’s not like she was pretending to be black to make money as a performer or author. She was actually in the trenches fighting for black civil rights. What she did was a little strange, but not malevolent or exploitative.

The shade being thrown at this woman is not ok. Bruce Jenner was physically female and it’s nobody’s business asking how much of that has changed beyond appearances. Yet we’re ok with him identifying as a woman, and we don’t feel the need to make him defend WHY he’s justified in identifying that way. Why is race so different than gender? And why do we have loads of judgment for her and nothing but praise for him? Logically, and from a human perspective, it’s not so different that we have any business as a community hating on her.

@denvermtnbiker: I couldn’t agree with you more. That science project, “Jenner”, is getting a free ride and the rewards that thing is reaping are mind blowing. That thing still has something hanging down there too. I would not be surprised if for some “reason” every sexy photo shoot IT does has women and not men in it. Yes, IT too is a phony.
Ok, the gig is up. She ain’t what she claimed to be and has been exposed. The reason why I say leave her alone is because her job performance shows she really did CARE about the people she claimed to be but wasn’t.
