Maybe It’s The Acting They Object To

We’ve come across anti-gay protesters throughout our lives. But with gay marriage such a hot button issue these days it seems like they’re multiplying faster than a gremlin in a swimming pool. Sure their message is hateful and ignorant. But sometimes we just like to sit back and listen to what they have to say.

Take this past weekend for example when a bunch of demonstrators took to the streets to protest the gayest of all gay things: a play. And not just any play, a play about homos.

“It’s spitting in the face of God any time they put this play on,” said Phelps-Roper, who said he had 13 protesters with him, some of whom were children.
He said the play promotes homosexuality, which he believes is wrong. The group believes that the deaths of American soldiers in Iraq and natural disasters, such as hurricanes, are punishments for a country that has forgotten God.

The group holds protests around the country.
One of the group’s signs read “Thank God for AIDS.” Another said “Thank God for a dead soldier.”

And here you thought the most irrational things you’ve ever heard came from the mouth of Jessica Simpson.
