Maybe Lady Gaga Can Be Taken Semi-Seriously If She Performs Acoustic
Lady Gaga is know for her illustrated outfits and anthem beats laid over crunk lyrics. So what happens when she tones things down, like she did on this Japanese television show for “Poker Face”? Suddenly it sounds less like an X-rated anthem to “poke her face” than it does a love ballad. But most important questions remain, like: Does any of this distract from rumors (or publicity stunts) that she’s intersexed?
She’s only been performing this version since last year. If you want to doubt her as an artist you might want to look up some performances of her on youtube such as “Fooled Me Again, Honest Eyes” or “Future Love.”
Ugh Queerty, why do you write off anything that’s flamboyant or campy? Such self-loathing homosexuals. At any rate, if you don’t like pop, fine, but Lady Gaga is one of the most talented performers out there today.
Kind of have some echo effect on the voice. Regardless sound very nice.

Snappy headlines does not equal news. LaGaGa has been doing acoustic versions of her songs on TV and radio shows for months now. Just check out You Tube, or does that qualify as “fact checking” which is not part of Queerty’s editorial process?
I think she may have been playing some Ben Folds in the Piano Solo at 5:10. Anyone else notice this?

I LIKE LADY GAGA! i am 51 hate most of what is on the radio and i actually bought this cd. she chose her beats well. and the tunes are quite catchy.
She is too talented for the side-show crap she wears. It’s no more interesting than a 5 year old going to trick or treat. Her music deserves more.
