Maybe Sean Penn Needs to Call Schwarzenegger Again About Harvey Milk Day

Just like Barack Obama giving Harvey Milk a top honor, Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to do the same! The California governor is going to put the San Francisco gay rights advocate into the California Hall of Fame (along with new inductees George Lucas and John Madden). But it's still unclear whether the gov will go one step further, and sign a bill designating May 22 as Harvey Milk Day — like the one he vetoed last year, because Milk's influence was "only" limited to San Francisco.

Except maybe this year, Schwarzenegger is listening with open ears? Yesterday he asked constituents to weigh in on the bill … via Twitter.

Hero worship is part of the problem. I say no to this idea. Equality is not a pageant prize. i always get the feeling its about who did what instead of what can be done still…

Until its universal there should be no stupid american hero worship.
