McCain’s Attitude Costs Him Former Republican Gov’s Love

John McCain’s reliance on negativity has cost him at least one high profile friend. Former Michigan Governor William Milliken, a Republican, last night revoked his endorsement of the Republican presidential candidate:

“He is not the McCain I endorsed,” said Milliken, reached at his Traverse City home Thursday. “He keeps saying, ‘Who is Barack Obama?’ I would ask the question, ‘Who is John McCain?’ because his campaign has become rather disappointing to me.”

“I’m disappointed in the tenor and the personal attacks on the part of the McCain campaign, when he ought to be talking about the issues.”

Meanwhile, Lincoln Chafee, a former Senator from Rhode Island, and Phil Arthurhultz, a former Michigan state Senator, are both backing Barack Obama. And, yes, they’re both Republicans.

Chafee is actually a former Republican – after getting voted out for supporting the Senate Republican leaders, he quit the Repubs in June 2007, and is now a registered independent, according to the Providence Journal (September 16, 2007):

These gentlemen are in stark contrast to the deplorable, traitor-to-his party Joe Lieberman, who has become a disgrace to the people of Connecticut. I’m not mentioning his lame and annoying posturing as some sort of spokesperson for Jewish Americans.

^^Thanks, JJ. Lieberman is little more than a flatterer of the modern Judenrat. He disgusts me as a Jew and as an American.

As for the GOP defectors, I see where they’re coming from- they can’t stand to back a befuddled loser. Fair enough.

Who is John McCain?

A man whose personal ambitions have seen him use neopotism to secure an unwarranted education, secure positions of power for which he was unqualified, and a man who will resort to divise, violence-inducing rhetoric while claiming to be someone who reaches across the aisle. He is also a man who is against gay marriage and gay adoption, but has cheated on both of his spouses multiple times.

John McCain is a self-serving man of dishonor.

How about Mr. Milliken endorsing the American Constitution and are most sacred voting system, one man one vote, instead of going with the wind with the flavor of the month.

McCain has never been popular with Republicans and now they’re turning on him in droves as well they should. His campaign has become a hate filled travesty that no one should support.
