Dina and Jim McGreevey are seriously the perfect couple.

First Dina accused her estranged hubby of planting Teddy Pedersen's ménage à trois allegations for "attention". Not to be outdone, former NJ governor Jim's issued a statement backing Pedersen up, pardon the pun:

In an e-mail to The Associated Press, the nation's first openly gay governor said published reports by former campaign aide Teddy Pedersen were true.

In his statement, McGreevey said he and his estranged wife need to move forward for the sake of their 6-year-old daughter.

"This happened, this happened in the past, and now we need to move on with our lives," McGreevey, 50, said without being specific.

Ah, now our imaginations can run wild! And it's frightening!

PS: Pedersen's girlfriend must be so proud!

Won't be the first time Oprah was fooled!
Bill Moyers had a clip of her show in the Iraq crises when many people thought the reasons might be trumped up.. In the clip she was just chewing out a member of the audience for questioning a gov't guest she had on. Bet she felt like shit later.

I have some doubts, too. I read McGreevey's book and nothing in there about this…and the book was entitled, "My Confession." Wasn't much of a confession if he didn't tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

let's put it this way… if i were an aging politico with a D-list celebrity status… and some really cute guy came forward to say he had a three-way with me, well, i can't say that i wouldn't also issue a statement that double-read "yes i fucked him, i fucked him real good" – whether it actually happened or not.
