Social conservatives are gearing up for a McDonald’s protest after the fast food giant pledged its support for the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. Said a McDonald’s rep: “McDonald’s is indeed a Corporate Partner and Organizational Ally of NGLCC. Our vice president of U.S. communications, Richard Ellis, was recently elected to its board of directors.” [Life Site]

The social conservatives will hardly get the support of their republican sponsors “McWorld” is the U.S.’s signature of world corporate domination. The social conservatives don’t get that they are just being used to garner votes for the larger economic cause. Big industry has been promoting queer hiring because we have higher disposable incomes than breeders generally.
