Nsubuga Enock says he killed Ugandan activist David Kato in his home after a “personal disagreement” last week. Kato was found dead after being hit in the head with a hammer. Says a police spokeswoman: “He has confessed to the murder. It wasn’t a robbery and it wasn’t because Kato was an activist. It was a personal disagreement but I can’t say more than that.” Enock had been staying with Kato and has a history of committing robberies, and was staying with Kato that week after he bailed Enock out of prison.
