If someone wants to define themselves to the world by posing for the camera and showing off their body…you know, whatever. It doesn’t matter why they do it, for attention, to soothe low self-esteem, or to masturbate to later. It’s their prerogative and there are people out there who are willing to feed that. I can be thankful that I am in no way forced to befriend or date these people, much less watch their videos.
Here’s the interesting thing…neither is anyone else. If you don’t like it, who cares? The thread is obviously for people who admire this sort of stuff. I didn’t see Queerty asking for critiques (though I have no doubt they expected them). If you really want to go against the grain, don’t dis the “models”…dis the folks who actually enjoy watching pointless clips like these.

@josh999: Just wait. There is clearly more and better to come. With the economy in the condition it is currently in the price of professional-consumer HD-Dv camcorders is coming down and fast.
With youtube turning into nothing but a paradise for any young’un or old fart who wants to stand in front of a camera with a fantasy free pornsites will go the way of payperview sites. ALL of those sites are experiencing downturns as far as revenue goes.
It is really ironic when you think about it. Now I understand why ESPN simply quit showing those men who clearly use drugs to get to their bodies on TV. Everyone knows how they did it regardless of how awe struck we all once were by them. Why spend all of that money on a show that would not improve in ratings even if it were featured on LOGO?
The one I find the most interesting is the one where the lonely, lost looking little boys are getting ready to go on stage and look so grateful the black guy did not take off his close and show them all up. Out in california back in the 80′s I saw guys who would pack up and leave if they saw black guys in the show that were clearly bigger than they were.
What wusses the majority of them are. Just sit back and enjoy the show here folks and try not to figure who has a sugar daddy present but off camera.

The “cult of perfection” in the gay community? A more obnoxious cult is the gay cult of JEALOUSY. Attacking or insulting someone who’s good-looking, has a good job, a cool partner, or whatever.
Straight guys like looking at pretty girls (as in the SPORTS ILLUSTRATED swimsuit issue). Why shouldn’t we enjoy looking at hot guys, especially ones like these who really enjoy being looked at?
Personally I’m tired of bitter, bitchy ‘mos who sit on the sofa swilling down beer and pizza, complaining about the “cult of perfection” in our community.
Quit bitching, quit hating, get some control over your eating and boozing, get your lazy butt to the gym from time to time, and enjoy feeling and looking better. If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em! :-)

I do wonder why all of the guys you selected look like they’re still in High School. Is Queerty promoting the idea that gay guys are only attracted to adolescents?
I started lifting weights in college, but I had trouble getting a date in my 20s. In my 30s, things started to pick up. In my 40s, I was fighting the boys off with a taser.
Yes, gentlemen, some things can get better with age. Muscle is one of them. Men in their 30s and 40s actually pack on more quality muscle than kids in their teens and 20s can. It’s never too late to start an exercise program.

@Chitown Kev: Hey Kev. Unfortunately yes I looked at all of them. Can’t say they were bad though. A few I actually liked. I was taken back to the early 80′s in california when I too thought the whole world stopped to look everytime I walked out the house. I lived in/for the gym in both workouts and cruising.
I see it has gotten worse now in many ways thanks to youtube and such but every now and then, like this spread featured, you see one or two that are nice and tasteful. And tech song was nice too. I am checking online free music to see if I can find it.

@Chitown Kev: Kev, be sure to check out #4. The guy is nothing at all to write home to momma about but what caught my attention about him was HOW he markets himself. Hi-Def photo shoot. Professional all the way down. I did not go further than the preview (free stuff) but the dude is smart and he understands the power of marketing and the gay audience. I have a feeling he isn’t gay either. He appears to me to be a college grad who is going to have all of his bills paid by the end of the month.
It is absolutely brilliant when you stop to think about it. I do hope queerty got “something” out of it because he is sure to gain members for the ranks of the ignorant. Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant is all I can say.
