Michaele and Tareq Salahi, the White House State Dinner crashers, weren’t about to let an opportunity to generate a few bucks go unrealized. So rather than join the five other Real Housewives of DC ladies at an official premiere party, the Salahis hosted their own event in D.C. At a gay bar. Where they charged $25 for general admittance, and $150 to have access to the “Housewives Circle,” where the Salahis remained. Says one guest: “It was crazy, super-trashy, exactly what you expected it to be.” Well, at least there was one drag queen.
Update: At the party the Salahi’s were served with papers from PR firm Brotman-Winter-Fried Communications over an alleged $15,000 unpaid bill stemming from their 2008 polo event.

Will these assholes please just go away!
patrick
I cannot believe anyone would waste even a penny on being in the same room with these slobs.
L.
@patrick: Indeed, and much less 15,000 of them. Mind, boggling, etc.
patrick
@L.: I think the article said only 150 people showed up…..If 15,000 people did show up I would have to seriously rethink my living in this country.
Jack E. Jett
For 150 bucks….those bitches better clean my house….which include laundry.
L.
@patrick: I meant 15,000 *pennies* – sorry 🙂
Adam
What kind of losers would pay $25 to see these people?
Jeffree
The Salahis don’t have much going for them: uninteresting, inarticulate, not that attractive and no back-story other than crashing a WH party. Why would they become icons to anyone — especially *US* ?
PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS
@Jeffree: “Why would they become icons to anyone — especially *US* ?” J…….’zactly I could think of a hundred better ways to waste $25.00 and if we are talkin $150.00 I can up that to a thousand….They have zero connections to the Gheys……..’cept she looks like a drag queen and in that particular picture whats his name has kinda sorta a Gay face…………..

I’ll pay Michaele Salahi $150 dollars if she jumps into the Potomac River wearing a straight jacket.
Is that too harsh???
Jeremy
Desperate people with no shame or dignity. Their children will have troubles for the shits their parents made.

The story I’ve heard about these folks is that he was a very minor partner in his family’s business, around 5%-10%. He nearly bankrupted their winery by constantly trying to donate and give free stuff to any group in DC that he thought had some prestige. Even imported grapes grown in CA for a huge amount of money then produced a palatable wine that he gave away in droves. Heard the family finally had to sue to get him chucked out because he was bankrupting them.
I have no doubt that they are being sued for skipping out on a bill. This couple are lower on the pecking order in DC than the ducks in the reflecting pool. At least people want to see the ducks.

@patrick:
150 sounds about right. I mean, the club isn’t that big. So 150 is a success. And 15,000? Thats just crazy. No amount of Housewives could get that many people to show up.
yazz
these idiots owe ALOT of people money. If you google VA district court, look under Fauquier county, and enter their last name…you will see how many people are taking them to court. No one makes mention that Tareq has multiple law suits against his own mother! He is trying to take over a family business started by his father (the winery) and the business is his mothers only source of income. His father has advanced Alzhiemers disease and he is even suing his own father. It is truly disgusting.
Also, bravo shows some random house that these two “live in”. The funny thing is that house is NOT theirs, it is a random house on the way to the winery. These two were in so much debt that they lived in a crappy apartment INSIDE of the winery! Now they live in this $ 250k house in Warren, VA…a very poor county: http://wcrnews.wordpress.com/2009/11/28/limo-dog-but-no-sign-of-tareq-or-michaele-at-salahi-house/
Here is another item of intrest. Tareq is a douchebag and will stop at nothing, he is a spoiled rotten brat:

I should know, I used to work for these two. that is a WHOLE different story.
