Mike Huckabee’s 6-Week ‘Ick Factor’ Trial Run

Fox News is giving Mike Huckabee, a name bandied about as a possible 2012 presidential candidate, a six-week talk show gig in certain markets on Fox-owned networks, including WNYW in New York, KDFW in Dallas/Fort Worth, and WAGA in Atlanta. It’s basically an extension of The Huckabee Show‘s primetime weekend slot, and a way for FNC to test whether audiences will receive him well enough to make things permanent. And by “permanent” I mean “wherein Huckabee will convince the last segment of American audiences still unaware he says awful, disgusting things.”
