Disney has dealt with some pretty major mishaps in the past, but overall, we have to say they’ve done a fantastic job at raising the last few generations of highly-functioning, open-minded adults.
Let’s not forget it was Disney’s handiwork that discovered some of today’s most awesome straight allies like Britney Spears, Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake, The Jonas Brothers, and even teen queen Miley Cyrus.
Miley is riding high on the top of the Billboard charts right now, and she’s making sure to bring her thoughts on same-sex marriage along for the high-profile ride. (Don’t forget about that equality symbol she had tattooed on her middle finger!)
Earlier this week, Miley learned about the same-sex couple starring in the new Disney show, “Good Luck Charlie,” and sang praises to more than 12 million fans on Twitter with a resounding “This is INSPIRING.”

One thing about Miley, love her or hate her we should remember, that when she was still mostly a teen idol, she came out forcefully in favor of gay marriage, and when some people attacked her for it, she basically told them to F-off and said she didn’t want them as fans.
Always nice when somebody supports us who has something to lose.
