In 2010, as Barack Obama as Democratic lawmakers were finally getting their act together on repealing Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, the Pentagon told 261 homosexual servicemembers to get the fuck out for being disgusting faggots. On the plus side, it’s the lowest number of discharges since DADT was implemented, relays Servicemembers United, but it’s still nearly 1.5 discharged troops every other day. Oh, and in case you forgot: DADT is still alive today!

As a native Washingtonian, I’ve known a lot of gay military officers and enlisted, and they all say the same thing: If you don’t flaunt it, it won’t come back to bite you in the ass. The people who’re being kicked have been so for displaying poor conduct in the presence of other military personnel, and not simply for having same-sex lust in their hearts.
