We complained about bland marriage ads in Maine a few days ago, and this new commercial from Minnesotans United for All Families is the perfect antidote.
In it, three holy men walk into a bar and surprise the drink-slinger by saying they oppose the state’s proposed marriage amendment, which would define the institution as a union of one man and one woman.
Joined by Lutheran Pastor Jim Erlandson and Rabbi Michael Latz, Episcopal Deacon Rex McKee says “churches should decide for themselves who they marry—not government.”
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Clearly, this man of God has been brainwashed by nefarious liberal homosexuals. Everyone knows that true conservatives love government and want more of it!
Wait, that’s not right.

That’s quite a flip; government limiting marriages is an infringement on religious freedom. Think they’ll buy it?

Love it!
The organ music is a nice touch, and the “Who do you need to hear it from?” with a light from above!

@Pete N SFO: Yes, the right-wing-nuts are just stupid enough to buy it.
