Misconductor Sacked.
Things are looking grim for Simon Lee. The 46-year old conductor lost his gig as a musical supervisor for a production of The Sound of Music after coppers arrested him for allegedly assaulting and “forcibly entrapping” a 24-year old male companion at a hotel. A flack issued the following response, “Simon is a very talented person who is extremely important to us. However, on this occasion we felt it was necessary to seek the termination of his engagement on The Sound of Music in Toronto.” [The Star]
