Miss Kitty Hiccups Crowned 2011 Miss’d America

Kitty Hiccups, aka David Hyland, was crowned the 2011 Miss’d America last night in Atlantic City, where she beat out seven other contestants including Dallas Dubois and Chic Chi Rodriguez.

Hosted by comedian Suzanne Westenhoefer, the contest was a hoot—with talent competitions going exactly as you would imagine a drag beauty pageant would go. Since 1993, the Miss’d America Pageant has been crowning the nation’s preeminent drag personality the day after the legendary Miss America contest , which was held in AC until 2006 when it moved to Las Vegas.
