Mitch McConnell’s Sad, Last Ditch Effort To Semi-Derail DADT Repeal
In case you were wondering whether, a generation from now, children will learn about that mean old bigot from Kentucky, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, he confirmed things last night by trying, and failing to pass a last-minute blockade of DADT’s repeal. Under McConnell’s lame NDAA amendment, repeal would have been certified only when all four military branch chiefs signed off on it, not just Defense Sec. Gates and Joint Chiefs Chairman Mullen.
after all the pointless obstructing they did, did he really think this had any chance of passing?
