He also ran as a fiscally responsible social liberal (which he probably still is...who knows with this freak?) to fool my fellow Baystaters and even with all that, he won with only 50% of the vote. And trust me...you won't find one person who'll admit to voting for him nowadays. The Legislature overrode whatever they wanted to and he thankfully spent a good portion of his time as Governor out of state.
