Montana Tea Party Chief Tim Ravndal Didn’t Know He Was Joking About Hanging Fags

Tim Ravndal, the ousted head of Montana’s Big Sky Tea Party Association, wants his job back! It was totally not fair that he was booted for LOLing all over Facebook about stringing up the homos.

The Facebook chat went like this:

Tim Ravndal: “Marriage is between a man and a woman period! By giving rights to those otherwise would be a violation of the constitution and my own rights.”
Keith Baker: “How dare you exercise your First Amendment Rights?”
Dennis Scranton: “I think fruits are decorative. Hang up where they can be seen and appreciated. Call Wyoming for display instructions.”
Tim Ravndal: “@Kieth, OOPS I forgot this aint America no more! @Dennis, Where can I get that Wyoming printed instruction manual?”
Dennis Scranton: “Should be able to get info Gazette archives. Maybe even an illustration. Go back a bit over ten years.”

But Ravndal now insists he was absolutely not making a reference to Matthew Shepard’s beating that took place while he was tied to a fence.

Ravndal said Thursday that he first got worried at the “fruits” reference and understood it to be a derogatory reference toward gays. But he did not think Scranton was talking about hanging people, and instead believed that Scranton had a strategy for the political fight on gay marriage.

“I thought he was using his derogatory adjectives of the gay and lesbian community. A display could mean many things. Are we talking about poster signs, are we talking about a book?” Ravndal said. “I thought there was an actual printed manual about displaying the facts in this issue.”

When he later came back to Facebook and saw the clearer reference to Shepard, Ravndal said he became worried.

“I said ‘oh God, this is not right. this is terrible.’ So I removed the post entirely,” he said. “I ended it when I found out that’s what I was talking about.”

Ravndal on Thursday denounced Scranton as someone who has “some issues and deep-rooted issues.”

Oh please let that glorious Kristi Allen-Gailushas come out as the winner in all this!

This man has a certain – shall we say, intelligent air about him, judging from his appearance in the picture. As if he were saying “Get in the truck, bitch.”

The amazing thing is people like this tend to be white supremacists. Perhaps he is more evolved than some strains of algae.

What’s most funny about this is that these scumbags think that they even hold the power to ‘be derogatory towards gays.’ You can’t be derogatory toward someone you are inferior to, morons.

These idiots are not OUR equals and could never possibly be.

How the fuck can you take an horrific incident where a kid was basically crucified, beaten, tortured, and murdered for being Gay and attempt to make humor out of it?

One of the must gut wrenching, tear your heart out of your chest and rip it into pieces moments I ever experienced was when I read the story of the nurse who first tended to Matthew Sheppard when he was brought into the ER barely clinging to life. She said the only part of Matt’s entire face that was not caked in dried blood, mud, and dirt was the path his tears had made as they ran down his face………

Take a good look at his shirt. This vile, reprehsive, bigoted, disgusting scumbag should choke a slow painfull death on his snot…….

@PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS: Matthew Shepard’s murder (perpetrated by a Baptist and a Mormon) inspired me to come out of the closet.

It also inspired me to hate heterosexuality and the heretic religions that demonize us.

He should just own up to his hateful bigotry and stop trying to lie about it. I’m sure that pig-faced thing Kristi whatsitsface will remain his cheerleader in hatred.

Personally I don’t think it entirely unbelievable that this man wouldn’t understand what the other person was inferencing…

Who is this Dennis Scranton character? He sounds far worse.

BTW did not know that Shephard was killed by a Mormon, another reason to dislike that heretical sect of polygamists!

I swear teabaggers have their own constitution in their pea brains and they invent fictional rights as they along.

Just another stupid redneck trying to influence America. The sad thing is, this guy does represent the Teabaggers and their agenda. If too many of them are elected then I guess we gays will have to “TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY.”

Judging by the picture, I assume his apparent illness must have something to do with the reference on his shirt.
