Conservative journalist Chris Adamo’s worried that Republicans are being tricked into downplaying conservatism. And his projections will no doubt please liberals: “At this crucial time in the nation’s course, an ambiguous and diluted platform from the Republican Party will serve no useful purpose, either for the party’s sake, or that of the nation. Yet by the character of its presumptive leader John McCain, the GOP appears to be stumbling into just such a morass.” [RenewAmerica]
“Morass.”

Morass my ass! The real morass the Repuklicans have gotten us into is 4,000 plus Americans dead and hundreds of thousands Iraqis dead. Squandered good will from our allies and a disastrous foreign policy. Ruined economy for years if not decades to come. Failed energy and environmental policies. And no vision for making America better for all its people. That is the real morass and McCain is nothing but more of the same.
That sad looking elephant brought a smile to my face.

They should run so far to the Right (which they are) that they fall off the political stage and into oblivion forever.

The word “Republican” has become a hot-button for me. I am so disheartened by the damage the Bush/Cheney/Rove/Scalia B.S. has done to our great nation. It will take my lifetime to repair it, if then, and I’m not that old.
Am I wrong to no longer allow Republicans into my home?

I think you can let them in your home, but I would make them take off their shoes and then fumigate the place after they left. Also, you may want to search them before they left, because you certainly can’t trust them.
Second thought…don’t let them in.

haha @ the exchange between John + FreeMe about Republican housepests.
Uh, houseguests.
