More Protest For Anti-Gay MP

He may have Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s support, but Canadian MP Tom Lukiwski’s still getting loads of hell for his 90s-era homophobic comments:

Dozens of placard-carrying protesters rallied outside Conservative MP Tom Lukiwski’s Regina office Tuesday to condemn his past anti-gay remarks and call for an end to homophobia.

Rally organizers said Prime Minister Stephen Harper must reprimand Lukiwski, after an old videotape surfaced last week containing the comments by the Regina-Lumsden-Lake Centre MP.

“We’re here to say that we demand better from our elected officials,” said Nathan Markwart…

Markwart and his cohorts want Lukiwski to either step down or get sacked, both of which seem increasingly unlikely.
