Morning Aural: Azeda Booth

From Calgary-based band Azeda Booth’s website: “There are no women in Azeda Booth. If you’re reading this before you’ve played their debut album, In Flesh Tones, you’re probably puzzled… It’s not so much a bomb in the mineshaft as it is an incandescent dove illuminating the way out.”

This track, called “Big Fists,” will help put that statement in context.

awww…I kept expecting something to make me want to groan or make fun of. But it was actually totally sweet. It gave me warm fuzzies and make me want to be a Jew in the 50s. That’s the biggest challah I’ve ever seen…I thought it was some dinosaur loin or something.
