Morning Aural: Candie Payne
Some may compare Candie Payne’s sound to that of Sixties-inspired Amy Winehouse and Duffy, but where those gals produce an “updated” experience, Payne offers the real deal. Or, at least, a deal sentimental enough to come across as vintage.
On an unrelated note, the singer looks like a cross between Barbara Streisand and Lauren Bush, which is queerly alluring.
