Morning Aural: Caribou


It’s a sunny Monday here in New York and, for some reason, makes us all dreamy. What perfect time to listen to Caribou’s new album, Andorra?

Composed by Canadian Dan Snaith – who adopted Caribou as his stage name – Andorra recalls a lost musical sound, a more introspective and thoughtful aural than some of today’s more haphazard indie tracks. Perhaps it’s Snaith’s mathematical skills that make his music so intriguing: he just finished his Ph.D. So, really, Dr. Caribou.
