Morning Aural: Drowning Pool

We haven’t seen a team up like this since Unk, Gwen Verdon and Bob Fosse “collaborated” on “Walk It Out”. Some humorous college kids got creative with Drowning Pool‘s jarring and surprisingly catchy, “Let The Bodies Hit The Floor,” when they implanted the song over Evangelical Benny Hinn‘s “miracle crusades”.

The result? An absolutely heavenly commentary on the Evangelical movement.

So, the guy is famous for choking old ladies and then throwing them on the ground? Shoots. I can do that.

I just read the Wikipedia article on him (I didn’t know who he was), and he sounds an awful lot like Uri Gellar. They might be twins.

Benny Hinn is creepariffic. Fake faith healers come in all forms and some are pretty docile, but this guy is truly a piece of work.
