Morning Aural: Fiona Apple


Is it wrong to say we prefer Fiona Apple’s “Across The Universe” to The Beatles’ original? Regardless, we do.

We also like the singer’s original tracks “Fast As You Can” and “Shadowboxer,” which we’ve included after the jump…

yep.. it’s WAY wrong. fiona sings this song like her quaaludes kicked in about an hour ago. i’ll take rufus wainwright’s nasally version over this one, but nobody ever does true justice to a beatle original.. those guys were friggin’ geniuses.
