When I first heard Freedom 90 I assumed that it was George Michael’s coming-out song. “I think there’s something you should know / I think it’s time I told you so / there’s something deep inside of me / there’s someone else I have to be.” Imagine my surprise ten years on when he finally did come out! I never even knew he was closeted.
